Gene Bohensky is the President and Owner of The Alternative Board Northern New Jersey. Over the years, Gene has been involved in all aspects of running a business, from the tough early days of a startup right through to the sale of a successful business; helping companies go from losses to profit and dramatically grow sales and market share along the way.
Our vision at TAB Northern New Jersey is to help local business owners develop strong, connected relationships with their customers, employees, suppliers, family and community. Gene believes the coolest thing you can do is share something with someone and have it make a positive impact on their business and that person’s life, and watch them pass it on. Gene has always loved working with small and medium sized business where things really happen.
A native of New Jersey, Gene has held a wide variety of sales and management positions, with more than 25 years’ experience taking businesses to the next level for both multinational companies like Emerson Electric and Siemens as well as local manufacturers here in New Jersey. Gene brings sales and marketing leadership and strategy expertise to the members of TAB of Northern New Jersey. With a B.S. in Ceramic Engineering from Rutgers University, Gene has always loved solving technical and business problems.
Gene is a certified facilitator and executive coach. Gene consults in strategic planning, sales and marketing, with a special emphasis on advanced sales strategies and lead generation – services he also provides for his TAB business owners.
